here's what's shaking in 2008
For the first time ESC
Camps will be offered on location in Vancouver. Camps
are based at
Wolfe Elementary School
near Main Street. In 2008 the offer will include two
levels of Little Rippers and two levels of Extreme
Riders. Upper levels and Freeride Team for advanced
riders will only be offered in North Vancouver.
All surf, kayak and
adventure camps as well as upper level mountain bike
camps are available from our North Shore Location. |
little rippers 1 and 2 (5-7yrs)
So your little rippers are bored with
riding around on a gravel field? They are trying to
huck off curbs and build their own mini jumps in the
backyard? Before you let them get more "air"
you should sign them up for Little Rippers. Qualified
instructors will assess every rider's ability and design
a custom camp for the group. Teaching safe behaviors
will be the main objective of the camp. We have 2 levels
for LR but don't worry too much about being right-on-
the assessment is where it all happens. Kids will practice
on mini-ramps, ride on local trails and polish their
skills in local bike parks. Everyone gets a T-shirt
and plenty of prizes!

1 and 2 (8-15yrs)
Nothing beats ESC Extreme Riders camps.
We are the biggest and longest running bike camp in
the world! We create hundreds of skilled riders each
year and always strive for excellence. Riders are placed
in 4 levels (2 in Vancouver) based on age and level (for example ER1
is for 8-12, ER2 for 9-13 and so on). Skill building
starts right away with an intensive course on safety
on roads and on trails. Then riders are assessed and
receive lots of personalized attention from their instructors.
The group hits the trails as soon everyone is ready.
Fromme Mountain and Seymour are the usual destinations
with visits to dirt jumps such as Myrtle Hoodlums LT
or Interriver capping off most of the days. Absolutely
nothing comes even close to our camps! Guaranteed!

freeride team (10-17yrs)
This camp is as close as it gets to a
great freeride tour. The difference is you come back
to sleep in your comfortable bed instead of the tent.
You will warm up on one of the local mountains before
we head out on a conquest of BC's finest bike trails.
Squamish, Whistler, Woodlot, Vedder, Sumas are among
the destinations so you get to ride the best of the
best. The visit to Whistler Bike Park is usually the
highlight for every camper! Transportation in our
renowned HuckWagon with DVD on board. This Camp is
only available from our North Shore location. Shuttle
to the camp might be available. |
