ESC - ADVENTURES FOR KIDS AND TEENS - VANCOUVER  2008

FREERIDE TEAM TOUR CAMP ITINERARY

THERE WILL BE TWO INTERIOR CAMPS IN 2008. THE CAMP SOLD OUT IN 2007 THEREFORE WE SUGGEST YOU REGISTER EARLY.  BOTH CAMPS START ON SUNDAY: THE FIRST ONE STARTS ON JUNE 29 AND THE SECOND STARTS AUGUST 10 2008. WE MEET AT 7AM SHARP.

Except for those flying in to Vancouver prior to the camp, everyone will meet on Sunday July 29 at 7:00am. Bikes must be in perfect working order and we will check for other necessary equipment.

DAY 1- Head out of the city  towards the Fraser Valley. We will start the camp with a bang-a number of 4x4 assisted shuttles on Vedder Mountain followed by a quick dip in the warm Cultus Lake. That should be a great get-to-know adventure for everyone. Then we will set up a camp near the lake and enjoy the first marshmallow at the camp fire. Number of games and other fun activities will tire everyone out and we expect to turn off the lights at 10pm.

DAY 2- An early morning trip to Penticton where we will set up camp at the Loose Moose campground. If you're afraid of snakes, then make sure you zip up your tent at night (!) The trails at the Peat Bog are really unique and we will enjoy a couple of shuttles up to the trails. We will go for a dip in the Okanagan Lake, then some ice cream and plenty of socializing in the evening.

DAY 3- In the morning we will head out to Kelowna and rip the trails in the area. A local guide will show us some of the well guarded secret single tracks there. See BC's largest Teeter Totter and a trail that consists almost entirely of wall rides! We will camp high up by a lake.

DAY 4-  An early morning start and a drive  to check out the Sun Peaks Bike Park. We will be camping at the resort.

DAY 5- Another great day at the Sliver Star Bike Park and a drive towards Whistler after the park closes with a lake-side camping experience on the way.

DAY 6- A beautiful drive to Whistler  where we will set up our last camp. Afternoon adventure in the Bike Park followed by a dinner in the Village

DAY 7- A morning spent in the Bike Park then packing and the final stretch home. Arriving around 7pm.

If you are sending your child (14yrs +) to be picked up at the airport, we will pick them up and take them to our preferred hotel to stay with other campers who are in the same situation. At the end of the camp we will deliver them back to the hotel or straight to the airport depending on arrangements. Home stay is possible- please contact us for details.
